This is the course Lotte-Marie wished she could have taken herself 10 years ago.

Deep down, we all sense that our current system is failing. What we're missing isn't awareness. It's the language, the analysis, and the practical tools to actually respond to our overlapping crises.

The course 'Become a Future Entrepreneur' is unique because it helps you respond to our current situation with your head, your heart, and your hands.

Head — Future Entrepreneur saves you hundreds of hours of reading to understand why we're in a polycrisis. It offers a historical systems analysis delivered in an easy-to-digest way, through quizzes, memes, videos, and short pieces of text.

Heart — Throughout the course, there's real space for reflection: to pause and notice what emotions come up. Together, we explore how to move from blind techoptimism on the one hand or doomerism on the other hand toward hopeful collective action. Not because we know for sure we will succeed, but because we want to do the best we can.

Hands — Finally, Future Entrepreneur goes beyond abstract systems critique, we also offer pathways to action. Through discussing several transition models, playing the Future Entrepreneur Game and the introduction to many real-world cases, you'll see how your own organization can practically contribute to a future worth living in.

A Future Entrepreneur is someone who creates new products, services, or ways of organizing under uncertainty, with the goal of contributing to a future worth living in.

This means being a Future Entrepreneur is not limited to founders or business owners. A Future Entrepreneur can also be an employee and be part of an organization of any kind—whether a company, foundation, or government institution.

What defines a Future Entrepreneur is not their position, but their ability to take initiative and shape life-affirming innovations in an uncertain world.

In the last decade, Lotte-Marie has trained hundreds of entrepreneurs and entrepreneur support organizations in Europe, Africa and Asia and studied examples of what we can do differently, so instead of contributing to the polycrisis, organizations can contribute to a future worth living in. 

Her academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, a minor in Sociology, and a Master’s degree in International Development Studies. She also finalized her PhD research on agri-businesswomen in Kenya through which she studied the latest entrepreneurship research. Her diverse academic background allows her to apply a systemic lens to analyzing the potential harms and contributions of organizations.

This combination of practical experience and academic insights has equiped Lotte-Marie to launch Future Entrepreneur.

The first session of the January 2027 Cohort will take place on Tuesday, January 12th, from 3pm-4:30 pm CET to accomodate different timezones.

In total, there will be 6 online sessions, held every Tuesday at the same time.
