Business as Usual is broken
In our current economy, entrepreneurship still often means: profit maximization, growth, shareholder value, and efficiency.
This 'Business as Usual' script produces companies that increase inequality, deplete the planet, put pressure on democratic institutions, and stimulate consumption at the expense of mental and physical health.
Concepts like 'impact,' 'circularity,' and 'sustainability' are often added within the same system, without changing the underlying logic.
This means we now find ourselves in an all-encompassing, global polycrisis.
