FAQ

What makes you qualified to offer these services?

In the last decade I have trained hundreds of entrepreneurs and entrepreneur support organizations in Europe, Africa and Asia and studied examples of what we can do differently, so instead of contributing to the meta-crisis, businesses can contribute to a future worth living in.

My academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, a minor in Sociology, and a Master’s degree in International Development Studies. I also finalized my PhD research on agri-businesswomen in Kenya through which I studied the latest entrepreneurship research. My diverse academic background allows me to apply a systemic lens to analyzing the potential harms and contributions of businesses.

This combination of practical experience and academic insights has equiped me to launch my own venture focused on promoting and training a new way of doing business—that of Future Business Design.

What existing concepts is Future Business Design based on?

Future Business Design builds on three main types of thinking:

African feminist thinking
African feminist thinking centers on decolonization and anti-capitalist perspectives, explicitly challenging the extractive systems rooted in colonialism and patriarchy. In business design, it demands that organizations recognize and transform how they may perpetuate inequality today — for example, through exploitative supply chains, unfair trade practices, or structures that concentrate power and wealth.

Regenerative thinking
Regenerative thinking focuses on restoring and enhancing natural and social systems rather than simply sustaining them. Businesses adopting this approach design processes and products that actively rebuild ecosystems, strengthen communities, and create long-term resilience.

Degrowth thinking
Degrowth thinking challenges the obsession with perpetual economic growth, advocating for reduced consumption and mindful use of resources. In business design, this means prioritizing sufficiency, circularity, and value creation that respects planetary limits over maximizing profit.

What kind of company structure do you have?

I founded Future Entrepreneur in December 2025 and am currently working as an independent contractor while building the business and beginning to generate revenue.

My long-term goal is to develop the venture into a steward-owned limited company, designed to prioritize purpose over profit and ensure responsible, equitable governance.

How much money do you earn?

Future Entrepreneur is committed to promoting limitarianism: the principle of setting an upper limit on personal income or wealth, with any surplus redirected to benefit society and promote income equality.

Once my pre-tax personal income reaches 80,000 EUR annually (to be adjusted for inflation each year), I will transition Future Entrepreneur into a steward-owned limited company, cap my personal income, and channel any surplus into an investment fund to support Future Entrepreneurs.

Until then, I remain committed to full transparency, sharing the company’s revenues and expenses publicly on the Future Entrepreneur website each year.
