Group session at Si Netherlands Hub Meet-up

How one afternoon of conversation can crack open the polycrisis — and what it means for building businesses that shift the system instead of propping it up.

Last Friday we had such a nice meet-up with Si Netherlands Hub.

It's rare to find a place where you can go from discussing degrowth, to AI, to the patriarchy in under 5 minutes.

After hearing from Si Network founder Joss Colchester, we broke out into smaller groups.

In my own breakout session, we used the Iceberg Model to unpack today's polycrisis: looking beyond visible events to the patterns, structures, and underlying mental models that keep "business as usual" in place.

Most importantly, we explored what it would take to flip the script and what that could mean for designing businesses that contribute to systemic change rather than reinforcing the status quo.
